Mega Free Health Camp & CPR Training Program – Rajendra Nagar
Janatha Hrudayalaya Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Malreddy Hanumantha Reddy, Cardiologist, and Dr. Methini Reddy, Dermatologist, organized a Mega Free Health Camp and CPR Training Program at Praja Bhavan, Rajendra Nagar, on 9 February 2025, in association with Praja Podupu Sangam, Shivram Pally, and with the support of Care Hospitals. The morning session focused on comprehensive free healthcare services and benefited around 2,000 patients. The camp offered general, cardiology, dermatology and eye consultations, along with BP and blood sugar testing, HbA1c and cholesterol screening, ECG, Echocardiography, FibroScan for liver assessment, neuropathy screening and NT-proBNP testing for heart failure detection. Patients also had access to physician, cardiologist, dermatologist, ophthalmologist and dietitian consultations, with free medicines provided to all patients. The afternoon session focused on CPR training, with around 1,000 students receiving hands-on practical training in essential life-saving skills. The program aimed to equip young participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond during cardiac emergencies. The event was honored by the presence of Shri Konda Vishweshwar Reddy, Member of Parliament, Chevella, as the Chief Guest, and Shri T. Prakash Goud, MLA, Rajendra Nagar, as the Guest of Honour. Through the combined health camp and CPR training initiative, the program brought together preventive healthcare, specialist medical services and life-saving education, making essential healthcare and emergency response skills more accessible to the community.
